About

La Sig is the passion project of Kerstin and Richard Tilley. Under their hands the old Farmhouse of La Siguenie comes into its full potential as a modern home with a long and proud history. As the principle house of its hamlet, records of it date as far back as 1800 and its various additions and renovations tell the story of a wealthy but practical family.

Leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow.

With boundless passion (and not entirely compos mentis), we aim to create a space that inspires, and enriches the lives of those who visit.

After an emotional rollercoaster trying to purchase the property, the Farmhouse, now lovingly dubbed La Sig, finally fell into the hands of the Tilley family in 2022. The house had endured some heavy handed renovations, and finally the burden had grown too much for its previous owners. The property seemed perfect for a couple with practical skills and the engineering knowledge to back them up. First step: Remove the Ivy, trim the greenery and fix the roofs… Easy.

The dream is to create a home for family, friends, and anyone willing to spare love for this beautiful part of earth.

La Siguenie is a small hamlet in the South-West of France. It lies by the small town of Saint-Antoine-Cumond and falls within the jurisdiction of Saint Privat en PĂ©rigord.

La Siguenie consists of a mere handfull of houses and lies nestled between rolling hills of farmland. Charming towns, national parks, and the river Dronne provide more than enough activities for the curious traveller.
